SHARE CHRIST WITH OTHERS
Sharing God’s message of hope and love for everyone.
“The earliest members of the Methodist Church were known for the energy and innovation with which they invited people to Christ and welcomed them to their circle.” As United Methodists and members of the body of Christ, we are all called to extend God’s love to others and share our faith.
Life today can be quite challenging. Today’s complex, fast-paced world can make people feel disconnected, frustrated, and unsure—searching for something more. This urge to seek more from life is a gift from a loving God and what John Wesley, founder of the Methodist Church, called “prevenient grace.”
As Christians, we are called to reach out to those who are seeking a more meaningful relationship with Christ and His Church. We are called to reach out to everyone no matter where they are on their spiritual journey. Here at Shandon, we can all offer those who are searching a place to find caring friends, meaning in their lives, and a place to belong—a place to find the saving power of God. We can all share the love of Christ.
