Health and Welfare sponsors a number of health-related activities around the church. From Mobile Mammography, flu shots and monthly blood pressure checks; to offering classes such as conversations about dealing with grief; to sponsoring community activities such as health walks, Health and Welfare offers many opportunities to stay healthy and fit at any age.

PARISH NURSE
Health and Welfare also includes Parish Nursing, a specialty area within nursing that applies knowledge from theology, pastoral care and community health to the healthcare needs of a church congregation. Parish nurses are registered nurses who serve as a resource and referral for healthcare concerns as well as provide confidential health counseling and advice.
