We all need God’s love everyday. And at Shandon, you’ll find a friendly atmosphere filled with caring people committed to sharing God’s love. Sometimes, at different times and stages, life can be more challenging and we may need a little extra support.

PASTORAL CARE
Shandon’s ministers are on call 24-hours a day to respond to a need or emergency in the church family and community. Ministers also visit individuals in the home, at the hospital or in a nursing home on a daily basis as needed.

Our ministers want to be there when you have a need.

• During church business hours a minister can be reached by calling the church at 256-8383. Business hours are Mondays-Thursdays, 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. and Fridays, 8:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
  
• After business hours and for weekend emergencies, such as a medical emergency or a personal family crisis, ministers serve on a rotating on-call schedule. You may contact the clergyperson on call by calling our emergency beeper at 654-8973 and then entering your phone number.

Shandon’s ministers also offer counseling for individuals, couples and families, as well as conduct weddings, baptisms and funerals.

PRAYER NEEDS
Shandon’s prayer team collects prayer requests each Monday and offers individual prayer daily for each person included on the prayer list. To submit a prayer request, email Allen Wolfe at awolfe@shandon-umc.org or drountree@shandon-umc.org or call Allen at 256-8383, ext. 111.
