In addition to Sunday School, Disciple Bible Study and worship opportunities, Shandon offers many spiritual enrichment programs and Christian fellowship events and activities for older adults. You are invited to join us. The Shandon newsletter, The Voice, offers information each week regarding time and location of all programs and events. The newsletter will be mailed to you at your request.

Tuesday Lunch Bunch begins with card games at 10:00 am. A full meal, with drink and dessert, is served for $5 each Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. in the Player Dining Room. This is a ministry by, with and for adults over age 55. Blood pressure checks are available each quarter after lunch. An informational or entertaining program is offered quarterly.

Exercise offered Tuesdays after Lunch Bunch in the Leisure Ministries Center. There is no charge.

Line Dancing classes offered in the LMC Mondays at 2:30. Cost is $10 for 8 lessons.

Shandon Friend Ministry assigns an active member on a one-on-one basis to a member who is no longer able to attend. The active member visits, calls, and sends a card to his or her friend.

Flower Ministry is extended to those with special needs. Altar flowers are redesigned into smaller arrangements by volunteers. Each Monday members deliver the flowers.

Tape Ministry is provided by volunteers who tape, copy and mail tapes to members unable to attend. If you would like to receive an audio tape of Sunday's sermon, fill out the Tape Ministry Order Form located in the church office and place in the Tape Ministry mailbox. The cost is $2 per tape.

Thursday Fellowship Groups includes Older Adult Fellowship from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.

Travel: Groups attend United Methodist Conference programs and also participate in recreational trips.
