BE INVOLVED
Teens in SMY REAL are called to be involved within our church, our community and beyond with our prayers, presence, gifts, service and witness. It would be wonderful if we could personally reach out and share God’s love with everyone but we know that’s impossible. So we gather regularly at church and through SMY REAL and Shandon’s ministries we can reach out together. Each one of us truly makes a difference.

REACH OUT AND SHARE CHRIST
Our teens assist with Shandon worship services and help with Vacation Bible School and Day Camp. We participate in annual mission projects by collecting donations through events like Souper Bowl of Caring and Big Mama’s Kitchen… as well as hands-on service through youth mission projects like YMP and others. And we also take part in church-wide and conference-wide mission activities. We’ve been known to stay in our community or travel with a caravan of buses, vans and trailers loaded with sleeping bags, tools and ladders to repair homes, build relationships and share hope and faith with others. Both junior highs and senior highs are involved in serving God, supporting each other and bettering lives for other people.
