AT SHANDON UMC, WE SEEK TO EMBODY GENEROSITY BY GIVING OF OUR PRAYERS, PRESENCE, GIFTS, SERVICE, AND WITNESS.
Financial generosity is a key way we embody our belief in God as the source of all we have while also growing in our faith.
Our financial gifts enable us to play a significant role in all of God’s work at Shandon UMC, while also empowering the church to faithfully love and serve our neighbors.
Shandon has several ways you can give to God’s work through your tithes and offerings, donations, memorials, and planned giving.
Online Giving
You may give a one-time or monthly recurring gift by following the links below.
Text to Give
Give by texting SUMC to 73256. You will receive a return text with a link to complete your contribution.
In Person
Give by Cash or Check in the offering plates on Sunday mornings. Mail or drop off a check in the business office at 3407 Devine Street, Columbia, SC 29205.
Make a Pledge

As you feel called to respond to the invitation to be a regular, intentional, and generous giver we invite all you to make an estimate of giving—a pledge—which enables our congregation to faithfully plan, imagine possibilities, and commit to partnerships in our community.

Arrange for a Planned Gift
Arrange for a Planned Gift through the Shandon United Methodist Foundation which receives and invests contributions as an endowment to benefit Shandon United Methodist. Gifts to the Foundation serve the needs and ministries of the church during our lifetime, as well as future generations.
