Woman to Woman is an all female WOMENtoring group. In the form of speed dating, topical questions and scenarios will be posed and women will share with women. Women will be matched in a one to one ratio alongside one older woman and one younger woman, and with each question/topic posed, they will move to ensure they don’t hear from just one voice.
Each woman will be as an open book to the other offering wisdom, coaching, grief, expertise, lament, successes, possibilities, etc. etc. Laughter and tears are acceptable. In short, we will engage the practice of WOMENtoring. If you are a young woman who would like to attend, please let Rev. Shannon know, as we will try to ensure about equal ratios.
The meeting will be April 24 at 6 p.m. We will meet for one hour only. The host is Carolyn Fields and her address is in Realm.

A Day of Abiding: Through the Lens
Our “Day of Abiding: Through the Lens” will be from 9:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 1 (rain or shine).
This will be a day using your camera or cell phone camera as a tool for reflection and awareness of God’s presence as we enjoy a Mindfulness Walk on the nature trail of Camp Discovery in Blythewood.
Our time together will include fellowship, sharing, laughter, and lunch but will also intentionally include substantial time for us to be individually mindful and aware of God’s presence and His voice in the natural world around us. (In the event of inclement weather, we will take advantage of the indoor spaces at camp that offer views of nature as well as enjoy a Mindfulness Experience indoors.)
You will need to arrange your own transportation to the Camp Discovery in Blythewood (208 Claude Bundrick Road). It’s about a 30 minute drive from Columbia to the camp.
Lunch and materials (journal and pen) will be provided.
Cost: $25
A waiting list is available for this date.
