For MYF on May 7, our students will join students from Trenholm Road UMC at Escapology for a fellowship night trying to complete Escape Rooms! These rooms will test our student’s teamwork skills as they try to complete their room in under an hour! We will meet at the church at 4:00 p.m. on May 7 for dinner and then ride buses together to Escapology.
The cost of this MYF trip is $20, which includes dinner and the Escape Room.
Students must register by April 26 to participate.

April 30: Open gym at 4:30 p.m., followed by MYF dinner and games. Our lesson will be “What is Community? Family vs. Friends,” and we will discuss healthy friendships.

MYF April 2023 Schedule
April 23: EX CON Night! Our former confirmands (6th-grade students) will join MYF for the FIRST TIME EVER from 4:30-6:30 p.m. for a Blacklight NERF fight! Students will eat together, hear a short message introducing our new students, and then break into chaos for our NERF fight in the dark. If they have one, students are encouraged to bring their blasters marked with their names.

Please join us on Sunday, May 14, for Graduate Recognition Sunday in the 8:45 a.m. worship service. This service will celebrate our High School graduates and their accomplishments.

Middle School Only Night! On March 5, our 7th and 8th Graders will go to Frankie’s Fun Park for a special night for them!
We will meet at the church to eat dinner together at 4:30 p.m., then ride on buses to have fun at Frankie’s from 5 p.m. -7 p.m.
The cost is $25 per student. Friends of Shandon UMC students are welcome; all students must register!
